Youngstown man sentenced to six months in prison after pleading guilty to felony drug possession

A man was sentenced to six months in prison by the Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

Marques L. White, 37, of Broadway Avenue, Youngstown, pleaded guilty to a fifth-degree felony of possession of a fentanyl-related compound.

As part of the plea agreement arraigned by prosecutors and White’s lawyer, the defendant was sentenced to six-month prison term because he was not amenable to probation because of previous prison sentences.

White was found with a trace amount of fentanyl during an investigation by Liberty police on July 6, 2023.
