A man was sentenced to prison after being found guilty of drug-related charges.

Patrick R. Braxton, 28, of Canterbury Lane, Boardman, was given an 18-month prison sentence on convictions of aggravated possession of drugs, a third-degree felony, and possession of heroin, a fifth-degree felony.

Judge Sean J. O’Brien of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court stated that Braxton was rated a high-risk to reoffend and not amenable for probation. He also has two other pending felony cases in Trumbull County and one in Mahoning County.

Braxton was also fined $5,000. His case involved a foot pursuit after a police traffic stop in Liberty Township on Aug. 1, 2023 in which he was found with substances that later turned out to be narcotics.
