Warren man sentenced to prison for assaulting Niles woman
A man was was given an 18-month prison sentence on fourth-degree felony convictions at the Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.
Robert J. Stauffer Jr., 47, of Roberts Avenue NW, Warren, was found guilty for domestic violence and attempted failure to comply with police orders.
The case involved an assault of a woman on Oct. 31, 2023, in which Stauffer ran from police.
Because of a previous prison sentence, the judge stated Stauffer was not amenable for probation.
