Mahoning Valley Scrappers weekend
Believe it or not, it’s the last homestand of the 2024 Mahoning Valley Scrappers baseball season at Eastwood Field in Niles.
Grab a ticket to see the Mahoning Valley Scrappers take on the Trenton Thunder starting Friday at 7:05 p.m., Saturday at 7:05 p.m. and Sunday at 2:05 p.m.
On Friday, it’s Military Service Members Appreciation Night with $5 upper box seat tickets when you provide military I.D.
After Friday’s game, stick around for fireworks.
On Saturday, there’s a mystery bobblehead giveaway to the first 750 fans through the A to Z Dependable Services Main Gates.
Not all the bobbleheads will be the same.
It’s also Bark in the Park Night, presented by the Steel Valley Spay Neuter Clinic. Guests can bring their fpets with them to Eastwood Field for the game.
Then on Sunday, everyone who brings a donation of a non-perishable food items for the Second Harvest Food Bank or a new children’s books for Akron Children’s Hospital will receive a free general admission ticket to the game.
It’s also Youth League Day presented by Eastwood Mall Complex. Kids who wear their youth league jersey get a free upper box seat ticket to the game. Kids can also stick around after the game to run the bases.

Caddyshack at Robins Theatre
Wrap up the week with a laugh at the Robins Theatre’s showing of Caddyshack at 7 p.m. this Friday in Warren.
Tickets are $7 each online and doors open at 6 p.m. Friday to see the film starring comedy legends like Chevy Chase and Bill Murray.

Honey and Lavender Festival
Join Trek Coffee House, Casa Ramirez and The Freightyard for Saturday’s Honey and Lavender Festival on Mahoning Avenue in Youngstown.
The Honey and Lavender Festival is free and open to families.
Check out local vendors, a free yoga class from Studio Oxygen, learn about bees with experts from the Columbiana Mahoning County Bee Keepers Association and enjoy food from Casa Ramirez.
Head to 1588 Mahoning Ave. in Youngstown from 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Biker Brewstock 2
The second Biker Brewstock starts at 10 a.m. Saturday at Biker BrewHouse in Austintown to showcase musicians of Ohio.
It’s happening all day at the microbrewery attached to Youngstown Harley Davidson in Austintown.
Catch live music all day performed by local artists, like Youngstown’s Shane McGee at 12:30 p.m., xtra crispy, an eight-piece original blues/rock band, at 4 p.m. and Cleveland’s Sam Winterberger at 5:30 p.m.
The night wraps up with headliner Theatre of Crue, a Motley Crue tribute band from Cleveland, at 9 p.m.
Tickets are available online for $10 to see the music on the main stage.

Boardman Band Night
Gates open at 6 pm. for the Boardman Spartan Marching Band’s 2024 Band Night. The shows start at 7 p.m. in Spartan Stadium featuring guest bands from Austintown, Canfield, Lowellville, South Range and West Branch.
This year, Boardman Spartan Marchind Band’s show features the “Blues Brothers” as well as tunes like Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.”
Admission at the gate is $6 for adults and $3 for students. The Boardman Band and Jazz Programs admit senior citizens for free.
