Early voting ends this week at Mahoning Valley board of elections
So far, around 1.6 million Ohioans have issued their ballots early for the 2024 general election during the early voting period, according to Secretary of State Frank LaRose’s new online dashboard.
The Mahoning County Board of Elections has already collected 29,290 ballots so far.
In Columbiana County, 11,782 ballots have been returned early, including absentee ballots and early in-person voters.
In Trumbull County, 28,529 ballots have already been counted for early voting.
There’s still one week left of early voting at the local county elections offices, and they’ll be open for extended hours:
- Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. – 7:30 p.m.
- Nov. 2: 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
- Nov. 3: 1 – 5 p.m.
To check where you can cast your ballot early, use the Secretary of State’s online search tool.
You will need to a valid photo ID to cast a vote in Ohio.
Mailed absentee ballots must be postmarked by Nov. 4. If not returned by mail, absentee ballots must be received by your Board of Elections by 7:30 p.m. on Nov. 5.
