Brightspeed expanding high-speed internet access to more Trumbull neighborhoods
The fiber broadband provider company that presented last year’s River Rock at the Amp summer concert series is bringing high-speed internet to more Trumbull County households.
Brightspeed announced March 27 they’re expanding access for customers in Warren to sign up for their broadband fiber internet.
Last year, Brightspeed received $11,358,720 from the state to expand broadband access to 5,053 households, servicing Mahoning and Trumbull counties.
Brightspeed’s internet services are already available to more than 17,000 potential Trumbull County customers.
This spring, crews are hard at work connecting around 2,600 local homes and businesses in communities to the Brightspeed fiber broadband network, according to the company.
These new areas include Warren, Howland Center, Champion Heights and the Oak Knoll neighborhood.
When construction is finished, more than 33,000 will have access to the most future-proof network available.
