Community members are invited to celebrate the completed renovations at two businesses in the Eastwood Mall Complex in Niles.

The Hampton Inn & Suites Niles first opened in the fall of 2016 at 5881 Youngstown Warren Road.

On June 28, there will be an official ribbon cutting ceremony beginning at noon at the newly renovated hotel with hot dogs and lemonade provided by T’s Concessions.

It’s a chance to explore the refreshed space, connect with community leaders and enter giveaways for prizes, including tickets to Mahoning Valley Scrappers’ game.

The grand prize is a weekend getaway in Las Vegas.

Entries for the giveaway are being accepted through July 1.

Jamie Gallner, the general manager for Regal Eastwood, spoke about the renovations during the latest episode of Eastwood Insider, the mall’s video podcast series.

“This location was acquired by Regal in 1994,” she said. “It originally was only six screens, and Regal added on eight more screens, making it 14 auditoriums. We recently just renamed, so it’s the all new Regal Eastwood, formerly Boulevard Center.”

According to Gallner, the main focus for the renovation which started in 2025 was improving customer experience.

“The box office area was removed, and this space was converted into a large open concept lobby with multiple self-service ticketing kiosks,” Gallner said. “The concession stand has been expanded with the possibility of more food and beverage options added to the menu at a later date. Throughout the theater, interior digital signage and displays have been installed, and all restrooms have been refurbished.”
