McDonald’s teases return of fan-favorite not seen in two years. When can you get it?
A McDonald’s fan-favorite was missing from menus for two years — until now.
“Everyone’s favorite sandwich is back!” the fast-food giant said July 8, announcing the return of its Smoky BLT Quarter Pounder with Cheese and the Smoky BLT Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese.
It arrives Wednesday, July 10, at participating McDonald’s restaurants nationwide for a limited time, alongside the new Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry, also rolling out on Wednesday.
The sizable burger debuted in 2022 and features a quarter-pound beef patty topped with American cheese, applewood-smoked bacon, Roma tomatoes, lettuce and a “special, smoky BLT sauce” on a bun.
“Get ready to experience a sweet and tangy, savory and garlicy sauce that has a lingering smokiness,” the product description reads.
For those craving dessert, the new Kit Kat Banana Split McFlurry is a spin on the classic frozen treat.
It’s made with vanilla soft-serve blended with bits of the chocolate candy and “real banana, strawberry clusters,” according to McDonald’s.
Both are available for a limited time, though McDonald’s didn’t say for how long. Pricing information also wasn’t available.
