Announcement of Howland to Eastern Buckeye Conference in football only expected soon
Howland to the Eastern Buckeye Conference in football only could be officially announced as early as this week.
One EBC school official told me off the record, “We have an AD/Superintendent meeting on May 7, which should finalize all details at that time.”
It’s believed the Tigers will officially begin as an EBC member in football only in the 2026 season.
The Tigers play current EBC member West Branch in football and have also picked up EBC member Carrollton in a home-and-home series beginning this fall at Howland.
The Eastern Buckeye Conference currently consists of Alliance, Marlington, West Branch, Salem, Minerva and Carrollton.
