Canfield takes softball district title with 6-2 win over Marlington
Canfield won its third straight district title with a 6-2 win over Marlington Thursday night in Hubbard.
Malena Toth led the Cardinals with 13 strikeouts, while Sydney Lutz, Faith Morell and Sami Economous each had two hits for Canfield.
The Cardinals will next play Aurora Wednesday in the regional semi-final in Macedonia.
