Professional Development Center to honor 40 graduates, give yearly award to Guy Coviello
The Professional Development Center in downtown Youngstown is known for working with Mahoning Valley job candidates to connect them to the best job opportunities and needed curriculum for professional success.
Forty individuals taking classes at the PDC earned credentials in vocational tracks and will be honored with a graduation ceremony.
The graduates’ vocations include chemical dependency counseling, nursing, welding, machining, and commercial truck driving.
The PDC honors its spring graduates with a celebration at 2 p.m., June 1 at 6 West Federal Street.
At the commemoration, Guy Coviello, President and CEO of Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber, will receive the Eagle Award.
The Eagle Award recognizes local leaders making “extraordinary efforts to provide opportunities for people to improve their lives and help community members work together.”
