Panerathon 2023: Raising funds to support local breast cancer patients
It’s that time of year again - the Mahoning Valley is gearing up for Panerathon.
Registration is open for Panerathon, a 10-K race and two-mile fun run/walk hosted by the Covelli Centre in downtown Youngstown.
When is the race?
The 10-K race starts at 10 a.m. and the two-mile begins at 10:05 a.m. Aug. 27. Day-of registration begins at 8 a.m.
Everyone who registers by the end of the week will be entered for a chance to win two free concert tickets at the Canfield Fair, courtesy of organizers JAC Live.
If you register by Aug. 18, you’ll get the chance to win two tickets to see either Koe Wetzel performing Sept. 3 or Boyz II Men on Sept. 4 at the Canfield Fair as well as a $25 Panera gift card.
According to the Covelli Centre, two winners will be chosen.
The first winner will receive two tickets to either Boys II Men or Koe Wetzel and a gift card.
The second winner will receive the remaining show tickets and a gift card.
Event Pricing
Runners can sign up for the 10-K race or two-mile race as an individual, with friends and even virtually.
Kids can run the races for free. Adults will be able to sign up online for a fee of $20 - $30.
Two-Mile: $25 pre-registration, $30 race day
10K: $30 pre-registration, $35 race day
Team (must have 5 or more participants): $20 per individual team member

Where does the money raised at Panerathon go?
All of the money from runners and sponsors at Panerathon go directly to the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center, part of Mercy Health in Youngstown.
Panerathon participants have raised more than $3.5 million dollars for the center in 13 years.
