Kicking off Howland Food Truck Friday rain or shine at Richard E. Orwig Park
After successful summer get-togethers in 2024, Howland Township’s bringing back Food Truck Friday starting at 5 p.m. on June 6 at Richard E. Orwig Park.
Grab sandwiches, onion rings and boneless wings from both the Mijavic’s Hoagie Truck and Mijavic’s Smokehouse Truck for the kick-off to summer evening event.
Finish up with a sweet treat from Curby’s Custard, who are only accepting cash.
Food Truck Friday has been an ongoing traditional organized by the Howland Township trustees since 2018.
The township recommends bringing lawn chairs to enjoy live music, performed by Mick Rogers & The Greasy Boys.
Stop by the rain-or-shine festival at Richard E. Orwig Park, located at 8189 E Market St. in Warren.
The next Howland Township Food Truck Friday will be on July 4, according to Aubrie Manley with Howland Township Special Events.
“We’ll have one more food truck night in August which will take place in Holland Township Park instead of at Richard E Orwig Park,” she said. “Mijavic’s and Curby’s will be back for August, and I also have Tra’s Gourmet Sandwiches coming to that one.”
