New health clinic now open in East Palestine
Anyone feeling under the weather in East Palestine can find necessary care at a new health clinic in a convenient location.
The East Liverpool City Hospital East Palestine Clinic opened Monday as an extension of the East Liverpool City Hospital and the Prime Healthcare Foundation.
Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine was there to open the facility.
When is the clinic open?
The East Palestine Clinic is open by appointment from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Monday until Friday.
The clinic is located at 139 North Walnut in East Palestine.
Who can get treatment at the clinic?
They’ll be able to treat ailments like strep throat, common colds, rashes, appendicitis, and other acute illnesses.
These are illnesses that are short and come on quickly but need professional medical attention.
You can also schedule routine check-ups and vaccinations at the East Palestine location.
Through a partnership with the Ohio Department of Health, the East Liverpool City Hospital opened the clinic to provide “preventive medical care closer to home for the residents of East Palestine,” according to a Facebook post.
