Mary Hall, 44, is a local teacher in the Struthers area, a Youngstown State University alum and a mother of two boys in elementary school.

She was diagnosed this year with Stage 4 Colon Cancer.

Meet Ms. Hall

“Ms. Hall has been an educator for 12 years. Unfortunately, she is out of sick leave due to her illness and chemotherapy treatments. Her last paycheck was only $1.05! Let’s help her to afford the proper medical treatment she needs,” wrote her colleague Heather Smith, who organized the event.

Smith and fellow educators planned a spaghetti dinner and drag show to help Hall through her cancer journey and medical expenses.

Smith also set up a GoFundMe for the campaign below.

Any additional funds from basket raffles, FU#% Cancer T-shirt sales and donations go directly toward the Hall family.
