The Mahoning Valley Scrappers is looking for someone to run a play-by-play for the YSN broadcast, according to an announcement by the team.
Open auditions are happening from 5-7 p.m. on May 24 at Eastwood Field.

Interested applicants should be able to commit to 40 home games.

Applicants can enter the field through the main gate entrance.
History of the ‘Voice of the Scrappers’
Some notable previous baseball fans who’ve done play-by-play for the Scrappers include Tim Pozsgai and Austin Pollack.
From 2021-2022, all summer games have been digitally called by Ron Potesta and Richie Juliano with Your Sports Network.
Potesta covered play-by-play duties in 2021 before Juliano assumed the “Voice of the Scrappers” responsibilities in 2022, which fans tuned into online.
