Austintown Fitch state championship-winning girls softball team slated for honors from Eastwood Mall, trustees this week
Eastwood Mall will honor the Austintown Fitch girls softball team at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Center Court with a Champions Rally.
The team won the state title with a 6-1 win over Anthony Wayne High School. on June 2.
As part of the festivities, the Cafaro Foundation will make a donation to Austintown Fitch High School.
Austintown Township trustees also honored the team during it’s Monday night meeting.
