Mercy Health’s Fuel the Fight Car Show
At the yearly Fuel the Fight car show this Saturday, families can check out hundreds of collector cars and trucks on display from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. at Ice House Inn in Austintown.
The event is presented by Mercy Health and Man Up Mahoning Valley, meant to raise awareness for prostate cancer and provide free screenings on site.

Celebrate Oktoberfest on the Square
Help support the Trumbull County Historical Society’s largest fundraiser of the year, Oktoberfest on the Square Saturday at 4 - 8 p.m. in Warren.
Head out to the Trumbull County Courthouse for Oktoberfest on the Square and enjoy music by the Youngstown Saxon Brass Band, as well as other activities for all ages.
Tickets are on sale online starting at $15, which will include two drink tokens and a German-inspired cuisine. Children under the age of 12 get in for free.
Learn something new at Silly Science Sunday
This Sunday, there’s no price to get into a street festival focused on hands-on, interactive STEM displays, exhibits and stage shows.
The OH WOW! Roger and Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science and Technology hosts Silly Science Sunday at 11 a.m. - 4 p.m. in downtown Youngstown, and there’s no registration necessary.
Participating businesses and vendors include Sharon Robotics, PLYMC, BRITE, City Machine Technologies Inc., First Robotics and many more.

Support friends at DSAV Annual Buddy Walk
This Sunday, you can show support for local residents and friends with Down Syndrome by participating in the annual Buddy Walk.
Gates open at 11:45 a.m. for the Down Syndrome Association of the Valley’s annual Buddy Walk at 1 p.m. at Eastwood Field in Niles.
There’s a $15 fee to join the walk; individuals with Down Syndrome can participate for free but will still need to register to receive their event T-shirt, Buddy Medal and Buddy Bag.
Interested participants can register at the event at Eastwood Field. There will also be family-friendly activities and performances by Disney princesses, local cheer teams and dance squads.
