#1 Cochran Mahoning Valley raises money for Abdu Breast Cancer Center
This month, local #1 Cochran stores are campaigning to “Put the Brakes on Breast Cancer.”
They’re taking a dollar from the first 5,000 oil changes at Youngstown Chevrolet, Buick, GMC and Nissan stores in October.
Funds to help breast care cancer center
That money will be donated to the Joanie Abdu Comprehensive Breast Care Center at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
“We chose the Joanie Abdu center here in our Youngstown region because of the great work they do in detection, treatment and overall care for breast cancer patients, as well as to continue the tradition of supporting this organization established by the Sweeneys more than 10 years ago,” said Derek Snyder, Ohio Platform Director, #1 Cochran.
Local #1 Cochran stores are open for oil change service from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

In 2022, #1 Cochran stores raised $14,000 with similar campaigns for Youngstown’s breast cancer patients.
