The Rescue Mission of the Mahoning Valley wants to ensure everyone can access Thanksgiving meals this month.

The Rescue Mission staff, cooks, donors, and volunteers are hosting completely free Thanksgiving dinners from 1 -5 p.m. and again from 6 - 7 p.m. Nov. 23 for the public.

The prepared feast will be served at no charge in the dining hall of the Rescue Mission, located at 1300 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Youngstown.

There are no reservations required.

Community donations to prepare and pay for the meal are being accepted now; a donation of $2.47 provides a full meal at the mission, according to organizers.

You can also donate canned green beans, stovetop stuffing, sweet potatoes and butter.

You can mail donations to P.O. Box 298 in Youngstown or go online to donate.
