A car was shot and officers are investigating to find out who targeted it, according to Youngstown Police Department.

YPD officers investigated Monday at 10 p.m. after a white Dodge Challenger was found shot.

The shooting happened while the car was parked outside of a house in the area of Hunter Avenue and East Indianola Avenue in Youngstown.

Reports say there were multiple bullet holes found in the trunk, back windshield and taillight.

Police also located two bullet holes inside the living room of the home.

Witnesses told police officers after the shooting they heard a vehicle quickly drive away but didn’t get a look at the vehicle’s make or model.

A witness who was inside the home during the shooting said they don’t know who could have shot at their property and “doesn’t feel safe at the residence.”
