Warren woman fights with paramedics, faces prison term of at least 18 months

A 28-year-old Warren woman, who fought with paramedics as they were taking her to the hospital, pleaded guilty to a fourth-degree assault charge on Nov. 21 in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court.

Megan Alcorn of Lexington Avenue NW will be sentenced by Judge Andrew D. Logan after she undergoes a background investigation conducted by probation officers. She could face a maximum prison term of 18 months.

According to prosecutors, Alcorn struck an EMT and pulled their hair as she was being taken to the hospital on July 21, 2023. There was no report on why Alcorn was needing medical attention.
