Deputies joined forces from the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio State Highway Patrol at the beginning of the week.

The two departments patrolled Monday and seized 30 grams of narcotics from the area.

The Trumbull County investigators collaborated for Monday’s patrol, focusing on “high crime areas” and where they knew identified suspects of property crimes were.

After a dozen traffic stops, they arrested five people for felony warrants and two for misdemeanor warrants.

Investigators also arrested several people for felony drug possession and released three.
