Youngstown woman charged with soliciting prostitution

A 42-year-old Youngstown woman was taken into custody and charged with soliciting prostitution and possession of criminal tools after a undercover prostitution operation conducted at the Boardman Inn involving the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force.

According to a Boardman police report, the sting took place about 8 a.m. March 21 in room 41 of the 7109 Market Street motor inn and assisting were officers from Boardman police and the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The woman, who also has a Tod Avenue Southwest, Warren address, is scheduled to appear for arraignment 8:30 a.m. March 26 before Judge Joseph M. Houser of Mahoning County Court in Boardman.

The charges are first- and third-degree misdemeanors.
