Amy and Stephen Philips are expanding their family-owned chicken and goat farm based in Champion by opening a new store in Warren to offer farm-to-table products and produce.

They’ve been making goat’s milk-based self-care products since 2021. The store officially opened on April 5, with a ribbon cutting alongside the Youngstown/Warren Regional Chamber.

“Our goal for Sunshine Golden Acres is to offer a location for our natural self care products made from our goat’s herd along with offering the freshest, most flavorful produce around and letting you connect with your local farmers through our farmer’s markets,” said Amy Phillips.

On Sundays, the shop expands into a miniature farmers market. They’ll sell goods and donuts from local Amish bakers, fudge made with goat’s milk, pies, cookies, honey, maple syrup, jams, jellies and fresh breads.

They will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays for the farmer’s market.
