Warren man gets three years in prison for Bazetta robbery

Brian D. Clark, 51, of Saratoga Street Southwest, Warren, pleaded guilty Wednesday before Judge Cynthia W. Rice of Trumbull County Common Pleas Court to a third-degree robbery charge and was sentenced to a three-year prison term. Clark was one of two people on Jan. 26, 2017 who jumped the counter of the USA Murphy Gas Mart on Millennium Boulevard in Bazetta.

Taken in the robbery were 20 packs of Kool cigarettes, 10 packs of Newport, 10 packs of Maverick cigarettes and a 12-pack of Busch beer. Clark was arrested four days later by a U.S. Marshals Task Force at his Warren apartment.
