Melisa M. Bounds, 32, formerly of Lordstown, who was a former employee of the truck stop off Interstate 80 near the Ohio/Pennsylvania state line, will undergo a background investigation before being sentenced on June 6 by Trumbull County Common Pleas Court Judge Ronald J. Rice.
One of the issues that will be addressed at that hearing will be how the defendant will be able to pay restitution for the offense that records showed occurred over the course of 15 days in September 2023. The case was investigated by Hubbard Township police detectives.
