Ohio 46 at the Ohio 82 overpass will be closed from May 19-23 for diverging diamond work
Beginning May 19 at 5 a.m., Ohio 46 at Ohio 82 overpass will be closed through May 23 at 8 a.m. for bridge removal at the diverging diamond worksite.
The reconstruction of the Ohio 46/Ohio 82 interchange in Howland will take until 2026 to be completed.
For this current roadwork, the northbound Ohio 46 detour will be Ohio 82 eastbound to Ohio 193 to Ohio 82 westbound. The southbound detour will be Ohio 82 westbound to Ohio 5 to Ohio 82 eastbound back to Ohio 46.
Traffic delays are to be expected throughout the construction period, according to an Ohio Department of Transportation news release.
