Sex offender sentenced to 20 years in prison in Columbiana County

East Liverpool resident Harold H. Rayle III was sentenced to 20 years in prison in Columbiana County.

He plead guilty to 20 counts of pandering obscenity involving a minor or impaired person, according to Columbiana County Prosecutor Vito J. Abruzzino.

According to Dayton Ohio Lawyer, pandering obscenity means generating, selling, distributing or possessing obscene material involving a minor.

When he’s released, he’ll have to register as a tier two sexual offender and stay on the registry for twenty-five years.

Abruzzino thanked the St. Clair Township Police Department, the Mahoning Valley Human Trafficking Task Force, the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force for help with the case.
