East Liverpool man arrested on murder charge in Campbell after manhunt

According to a social media posting from the Columbiana County Prosecutor’s Office, accused murder suspect Allen N. Tisdale, 24, of East Liverpool, was taken into custody on Monday by the Northern Ohio Fugitive Task Force and the U.S. Marshals Service.

Tisdale, who was the subject of a manhunt that lasted over a year, was located in Campbell after authorities received a tip as to his whereabouts.

Tisdale was indicted in January 2023 by a Columbiana County grand jury for various felony offenses, including aggravated murder, murder and weapons offenses. He was wanted in the shooting death of Brycen Douglas, 20, of East Liverpool, who was killed in front of a Pennsylvania Avenue home in that city on July 15, 2021.

Prosecutor Vito J. Abruzzino of Columbiana County thanked state and local law enforcement agencies for their investigative efforts in this case, including the U.S. Marshals, East Liverpool Police, Ohio BCI and members of the Columbiana County Major Crimes Task Force.
