Man accused by Youngstown police of stuffing a crack pipe down his pants
Youngstown police reportedly witnessed a man stuff a crack pipe down his pants at a Speedcheck gas station on Wednesday.
The man was arrested shortly after and proceeded to spit on and kick the arresting officers, according to a police report. The report stated that the two officers recognized him from prior instances of trespassing at that gas station on McGuffey Road.
The officers said in the report they witnessed him stuffing something down the rear of his pants and promptly placed him in handcuffs.
On the way to the police cruiser, the suspect reportedly spat on one officer, and the report added that another officer put a spit hood on him to prevent him from doing it again. On the way to the cruiser, the suspect also reportedly kicked an officer as well.
According to reports, The crack pipe had fallen out of his pants during the walk to the police car.
The man was transported to the Mahoning County Jail over accusations of harassment, possession of drugs, and criminal trespass.
