Election Day
Polling places in Ohio will be open on Election Day from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.
View a sample ballot for each county here to see which issues and candidates will be on your ballot, including Issue 1.
On each ballot, voters will choose candidates for U.S. president and vice president, as well as who will represent them in the Ohio Senate, congressional districts and local positions.
Issue One
This November, the top issue on ballots across Ohio is all about redistricting.
Voting yes on Issue 1 would change how the congressional maps are drawn across the state and create a new system.
If it passes, Issue 1 would create a committee called the Ohio Citizens Redistricting Commission, which would be comprised of 15 individuals.
Voting no on Issue 1 would be rejecting the independent commission proposal and keeping the current system for future elections.
The current congressional district maps are decided by the Ohio Redistricting Commission, made up of seven elected officials and lawmakers.
