Area bowlers compete for top honors at Youngstown Masters Tournament
The Greater Youngstown Bowling Association held the Youngstown Masters Tournament this Saturday and Sunday at Holiday Bowl in Struthers.
89 bowlers entered the tournament for a chance at a minimum $2,000 first-place prize. The tournament was open to all male and female United States Bowling Congress sanctioned bowlers.
The tournament is a ladder format, with the top ten bowlers during qualifying moving on to the stepladder finals.
The top female bowler, top senior bowler, and 2 Greater Youngstown Bowling Association-sanctioned bowlers who do not cash after 15 games of qualifying received $125 each.
