Mercy Health, JCC hiring in Youngstown
This week, leaders at Mercy Health host a walk-in hiring fair at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital.
There’s also a call out for the next director of the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown’s summer camp in 2024.
Mercy Health hiring nurses, hospice care and more
It’s happening this Wednesday from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at 1044 Belmont Ave. in Youngstown. You can walk in at any time.
Right now they’re looking for applications for roles in multiple departments, including nursing, nursing support, lab services, home and hospice care, imaging, respiratory, pharmacy, surgical services and sterile processing.
No appointment is necessary. Candidates are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their resume and be ready to talk about your experience and availability with hiring managers.
In the press release, officials said job offers could be made on the spot by hiring managers.

Jewish Community Center looking for next camp director
If you’re looking for a job helping kids have a fun and safe summer camp, consider the Jewish Community Center.
You’ll be in charge of managing Camp JCC in the summer of 2024, with part time work during the year to plan the summer programming for Camp JCC.
According to the website, you’ll work with an assistant camp director and program coordinators to uphold health and safety regulations set by the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.
You’ll also be in charge of hiring and training seasonal staff members to incorporate Jewish and Israeli culture and traditions into weekly activities and programming for campers.
