Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation to get $5 million grant from USDA
This week, Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation and its partners are announcing a major investment into their new project.
Accoding to YNDC, they received a $5 million grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
The announcement is happening at 10 a.m. Thursday at 1303 Glenwood Ave. in Youngstown.
The YNDC was granted money from the Forest Service Urban and Community Forestry Inflation Reduction Act.
YNDC is partnering with the Mahoning County Land Bank, City of Youngstown, Trumbull County Land Bank, Trumbull Neighborhood Partnership, Youngstown Cityscape, Healthy Community Partnership and Lola Lewis for the to-be-announced project.
