Holy Cannoli Stout: Penguin City Brewing and One Hot Cookie collaborate
Penguin City Brewing Company collaborated with another small business in Youngstown to craft a Sicilian pastry-inspired beer fit for the holidays.
It’s called the Holy Cannoli Stout, inspired by a holiday favorite at One Hot Cookie, the Holy Cannoli cookie.
The pastry stout has vanilla, chocolate and cinnamon and a 6.6% ABV.
Get your hands around a glass of Holy Cannoli Stout starting at 4 p.m. Friday in the taproom at Penguin City Brewing Company in Youngstown.
They’ll also have growlers of Holy Cannoli available to purchase, as well as a limited-edition 16-ounce beer glass with a gold rim and gold imprint of both brands.
This isn’t the first time the two local business women behind Penguin City Brewing Company and One Hot Cookie came together for a collaboration.
In 2019, Penguin City’s Aspasia Lyras and Bergen Giordani, owner of One Hot Cookie, introduced the Pink Peppermint Ale.
It’s a beer by Penguin City inspired by One Hot Cookie’s pink peppermint brownie.

They’ll be hosting a Cookie Exchange at Penguin City from 2 - 6 p.m. Dec. 17.
