Boardman Township police search apartment in homicide investigation

Boardman Township Police Department served a search warrant at an apartment off of Mathews Road on Tuesday, adding that no arrests have been made at this time.

Boardman Township Police Department is looking for the public’s help identifying a car caught on surveillance camera after the fatal shooting of 30-year-old Michael Kosarich in Boardman.
Police said they’re looking for information about the vehicle and its owner as part of their investigation into the Jan. 6 fatal shooting in the area of Indianola and Market Street in Boardman.
Surveillance cameras near the intersection were able to capture the vehicle around 2:30 a.m.
The images captured by area surveillance cameras are blurry based upon the speed of the vehicle, according to police.
Anyone with additional video, still images or other information about the vehicle that would have been in the vicinity the night of the homicide are asked to call the Boardman Township Police Dispatch Center at 330-726-4144.
