CHRIS PUGH: Keep dogs safe during Ohio heat waves and ‘Bowling for Boobs’ at Westside Bowl
Good morning and welcome to your Morning Matters.
It’s Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
In today’s edition, let’s give a friendly reminder. Take care of your dogs! The Mahoning County Dog Warden’s Facebook page gives daily reminders of some dogs who haven’t properly been cared for. It’s truly heartbreaking. And today, we have a story from service reporter Sundi Rose which talks about dog breeds who tend to have the hardest time during summer months. It’s a serious issue. No matter if your dog breed is on the list or not, take precautions to keep your dog healthy and safe from the summer heat. Send your ideas of keeping your pets safe to news@mahoningmatters.com and we’ll share them in a future column. In addition to dog safety, you can read 13 additional stories from the Mahoning Valley, region and state below.
