Liberty Township police are investigating a break-in at Smoke Buddy’s shop at 3235 Belmont Ave, which occurred early March 20.

According to a Trumbull County 911 report, someone called about 2:10 a.m. to report a window broken out and the door wide open.

The report stated that a young man in a blue hoodie, about 5-foot-7 inches tall and of thin build, was spotted by the caller and store security cameras at the time of the break-in.

Officers checked the surrounding neighborhood, including the Liberty Plaza, but nothing was found, the report stated. Reports stated merchandise was scattered across the floor of the smoke shop and the owner suspected some items were taken.
