Man injured in Youngstown shooting
A Youngstown man was found by police officers lying on the sidewalk in the 1300 block of Humboldt Avenue about 2:10 a.m. March 26 with a gunshot wound to the inner left thigh.

Alliance man arrested on theft charge in Boardman
A 38-year-old Alliance man turned himself in to Boardman police at 11 a.m. March 27 after he learned there was an active warrant against him for a theft charge.

U.S. Marshals Service believed to be seeking man hiding in Cleveland, Warren or Youngstown
The U.S. Marshals Service Cleveland office is seeking help in finding the whereabouts of Terry Treater, 63. Treater is five-foot-three inches tall and weighs 125 pounds and is wanted by the Marshals Service for violations of federal probation with underlying charges of possession/distribution of child pornography

George Chambers Jr., 53, formerly of Masury and now living in Chesapeake, Va., pleaded guilty to an amended indictment charging him with trespassing into a habitation (f4) and theft from a person in a protected class (f5)
